Cheers

- 1st postpartum beer...I missed this bitch!

Cheers to the end of pregnancy, the beginning of parenthood, and to an amazingly calm baby - Andres. I'm knocking on wood as I type that I think we won the baby lottery. Andy has been the best sleeper, eater, and sleeper. That's all he does. With an occasional smile thrown in. So cheers for what I can say we have - the happiest baby on the block. :-)

so i couldn't leave this one on your baby blog.....just wanted to let you know that you can still definitely breastfeed...a lot of people think they are not producing milk when in fact they are. I'm sure you insurance covers renting a hospital grade pump for a least a month. You can supplement until your supply is adequate. Your breast don't automatically feel huge and engored until a couple weeks of nursing. Here is a great website that will help you with any questions you may have about breastfeeding...http://www.kellymom.com/
don't give up...it's not too late.

Not to burst your bubble or anything, but Sebastian was the best baby EVER too and then look what happened after he learned to move around and talk =) So don't teach him to do ANYTHING!!

I can't wait to meet him. Hope you and daddy are doing well....

I agree w./the last post! You can definitely still do. Remember, with nursing it's all about supply and demand. The more Andy suckles, the more milk you will produce.
He should pretty much be on your breasts 24/7 the first few weeks. That will greatly increase your milk supply. The pump does the same thing but, Andy's suckling is more effective.
ALso, drink lots and lots of fluids!
It took Lara a few months to get going because she slept a lot and was a bit "lazy" at nursing. We had to supplement a bit. But, after awhlile, I was pumping 5-6 oz every few hrs. It was gr8!

If you want to, you can still do it. It's a lot of work, though. Good luck, mommy! :)
