This is a controversial topic, but just so you readers know...I'm all for it.
There is a good chance that there will be an initiative on November's ballot to vote on legalizing weed in California. It would be sold in stores that currently sell alcohol and tobacco [weed would finally be included in the same category as alcohol & tobacco]. You would pay an extra tax for the purchase which would help create more revenue for California. If you want to sell it in your store, you would just have to buy a $5 stamp [anonymously] for an eighth ounce of weed. A $50 annual license would be required to grow one plant.
I do think these fees are low. Considering how much can be made thru the growth and sale of weed, I think California should get more money out of it. Especially considering the financial crisis we are in.

you know, if this does happen, then weed would be more expensive because there would be more of it and competition between vendors, we talked about this today in my government class..haha
Yummy! Not the worst thing to happen -
